I used to use prlctl to control things in Parallels 7, like starting VMs from scripts. The command seemed to linger on after the upgrade to 8, but with the latest point release it has now disappeared. Is this intentional? If so is there a new recommended way for me to interact with Parallels programatically?
Weird, I shut down my VM and parallels showed a crash report dialog. sent it, quit parallels, now /usr/bin/prlctl exists again. I wonder if it got stuck part way through installing the point update or something.
