    Hello everybody,

I'm new to this forum (as to Macbook and Parallels) and encounter the following problem:
I installed Win 7 via bootcamp on a new partition on a macbook pro. I bought this wind 7 version specially for this purpose - and registered windows with microsoft.
Afterwards I installed Parallels 7 and told it to use the existing win 7 installation. So far everything is o.k.
I used windows either with parallels from the mac desktop or I booted it from the start. No problem.
Meanwhile I updated to Parallels 8 and just now I tried again to use windows as guest OS from within MacOS via Parallels and windows shows me a warning in the lower right hand corner of the screen that my windows copy might be illegal.
Does that mean that I need two windows keys (licenses) for the same installation just to use it when booted via bootcamp and via Parallels?

It would be nice, if anybody knows a solution…

Just follow the instructions to reactivate it, you don't need to buy a new license, (might require activation by phone, if you have to talk to some MS rep, explain the situation).
