Hi! I've just tried to install Windows XP Professional on my Macbook, via Parallels 7. It recognized the CD when i tried to begin the install wizard - but when it was going to install Windows XP Pro, itself, it says that there's no CD inside the disk drive... (see att.) What to do? Have you seen this issue before? I had Windows Vista and even Windows 8 on it, but now I can't install XP Pro... Thanks in advance!
Somebody had a similar problem : http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=263123 I have installed Windows XP with a CD in the superdrive with Parallels 8. At the start, be sure to choose default CD / DVD-ROM http://forum.parallels.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6136&stc=1&d=1349378240 If it does not work, you can use the disk utility to copy the CD to a .dmg file, that you rename to .iso, and you install from that iso image.
