    Hi,

I have a windows XP Pro virtual machine running in macbook/Max OSX Lion 10.7 using Parallels 7.

    My question is:

Does this virtual XP machine (licensed copy of windows) treated just as a PC for upgrade to windows 8 Pro? In other words, in the near future can I use the windows upgrade assistant to upgrade this virtual XP machine to windows 8 Pro for discounted pricing of 39.99$ (just as any other PC user will do)?

    Thanks

    Yes.

(I have to write something more down here because the forum doesn't let me just say one word)

Confirm what? I'm sorry there isn't much more to say to your original question, but that's the correct answer to your question.
