    Recently i just upgraded my laptop to a macbook pro 2011, i am currently using parallel desktop 7, my mouse is fine when using windows 7 however when i make fast movements using the mouse in warcraft 3 my mouse seems to move in the wrong direction, for example if i move it really fast to the right in warcraft 3, the cursor instead of moving right it moves left or up or down.

    Its weird since previously i don't have the any problem when playing warcraft 3 on my old macbook 2008 on parallel desktop 5 using the same mouse. Also, it shows that it's not a mouse hardware problem.

    Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

    Thanks!

    Same problem

    I have similar specs as you, late 2011 OSX Lion Macbook Pro 15" High Res Screen i7 Processor 8GB RAM 750GB HDD, and i'm currently using a Razer Orochi gaming mouse that has no issues other than working with Warcraft III The Frozen Throne on Parallels 7. It also has no problems working perfectly when im using other programs on my windows 7 bootcamp partition through Paralells 7, but once i open up warcraft and go fullscreen mode i have to keep the mouse at a steady rate for it to not lag or go in the wrong direction. Does the Parallels company have to patch this or is there a way to fix it myself, I'd appreciate a response ASAP or I most likely will not be purchasing Parallels after my free trial is up.

    I am having the same problem, with MacBookPro8,2 and Apple Magic Mouse.

    Use Lion? Just normal.
    Open Windows 7 on Parallels 6? Just as perfect as in OSX.
    Open Warcraft 3? Buggy mouse!
    I don't really get this, please help!

    [EDIT - 2012/may/28, 08h42]

    I just discovered that if I move the mouse REALLY fast in any parallels window, I get the same buggy effect that I get inside the game - only difference is that in the game only a little fast is already enough to get the effect, while outside the game I need to move it way faster.
    Is this a good tip for you to address this issue?

    Mouse (wireless) jumping in warcraft 3

    Finally found a solution to this. Parallels had fixed this but didn't put it up front.

    If you are having problem in Warcraft III (and some other games) while using XP/Win7 in Parallels,
    such as the mouse moving in random direction when you accelerate the mouse pointer at a faster speed…

    Do the steps below:
    1. Virtual Machine --> Configure
    2. Options --> Advanced
    3. Smart Mouse --> ON (Change from Auto to ON)

    DONE!
