    Hey Guys,

I've been able to do this before and do this on my Old 2011 Macbook Pro with Lion on it.

I now have a Retina MBP that came with mountain lion and parallels 7 works good so far, but im having an issue trying to boot my bootcamp partition virtually. Booting into it from a cold boot is no problem. I do have permissions and I even have tuxera NTFS install.

So I dont understand what these 2 errors mean. Can anyone please help?

    Hello, Harmeet,

I have no idea, how to solve your problem - but I have the same one. It seems, that you use an SSD - same with me. MBP Retina with SSD, Windows 7, Parallels 8. Have you found a solution? Or anybody else?

The problem is that the GPT and MBR partitions aren't sync'ed.

The issue isn't with SSDs. This issue normally appears if the Windows partition wasn't correctly created or was manipulated with a tool that isn't aware of GPT and MBR. Bootcamp assistant is the only tool one should use to create and manipulate Windows partitions.
Two ways to solve the issue:

-Back up your Windows partition, remove it via bootcamp assistant.app, recreate it, restore the backup. You'll need a tool that can handle backup and restore on hybrid GPT/MBR partitions like Winclone.

    or,

-There's an utility called iPartition that might be able to correct the misalignment, some people had success with that.

Winclone and iPartition are not free.
    Good luck!

Thank you for your help - I did't clone the partition but did a clean new install of the bootcamp partition - it worked! Thanx a lot!
