Parallels 8 creates a "/Users/username/Applications (Parallels)" folder which contains a ".{guid}.app" file. How can Parallels be prevented from creating this folder in the root of my user folder?
Open the virtual machine's settings (menu Virtual Machine -> Configure), Options -> Applications. If I uncheck Share Windows applications with Mac, the subfolder for this machine under Applications (Parallels) disappears.
Tried that -- there is still a hidden ".{guid}.app" file that gets re-created each time the VM is started.
I have unchecked all options for application sharing and this folder still shows up for me as well. Anyone know how to remove it?
