I, as many do, have an external, extended screen attached to my MacBook Pro. Screen 1 is my external screen and screen 2 is my display on my MacBook. After upgrading to V8, I can no longer dock a program / spreadsheet to my extended display (Screen 2). after NUMEROUS attempts at getting help from the support chat and later phone call - I was told that there is no fix for the issue and I'd have to wait until the engineers come up with a fix and no I can't go back to V7 which worked just fine. Earlier tonight I received an email with the "fix" - telling me to go to "Start Virtual Machine> Mac menu bar> Virtual machine>reinstall Parallels tools". However when following the instructions, I discover that the "reinstall Parallels tools" is not an option available since it's greyed out.
As is normal, Kutubuddin stated he/she was closing out the issue since this took care of the issue - which of course it doesn't, and I really don't have the time nor patience to spend any more time with them.
Does ANYBODY know a fix? as it is the program is now unusable to me since I need to be able to look at two or more items at the same time.

    Hi,

thank you for feedback, we do appreciate it!
To investigate the issue we need some technical information, so could you please reproduce it, send us Problem Report as described in http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058 and give me an ID?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hanna

    many having same issue

    See postings here:http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=262452

Also they have a work around - releasing the page prior to pointer crossing over to the new screen and picking up the page on the other screen seems to work, not proper, but it works until the bug gets fixed.

also, there is another bug - when opening a password protected Excel spreadsheet, your password appears in the base spreadsheet after opening your file, allowing anyone to see your password.
