Command-V (Paste) is not mapped correctly in Windows XP

    I'm using Windows XP as the guest OS with Build 7.0.15094 (Revision 749908; April 5, 2012).

    Under Preferences -> Keyboard -> Windows Profile -> Virtual Machine Shortcuts -- I have Cmd+V mapped to Ctrl+V, but when I use Cmd+V in any application it instead types the "V" character.

    This also happens to Cmd+Z, and I imagine some others.

    Any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you -Chris

    The only thing I can think of is to try reinstalling Parallels tools in the VM.

    Have you checked that the correct profile is mapped to your XP VM?

    You can set a number of Keyboard profiles, like 'Generic', 'Windows' or one of you own.

    Check you have the correct profile mapped to that particular VM.
