Hi, I have to test things in multiple browsers on Mac and Windows. I'd like to be able to right-click a link in Firefox running on Mac and open it in any browser I wish. Firefox has an extension called "Open with" (http://www.darktrojan.net/software/addons/openwith/) to open the links in Safari or Chrome on the Mac side, but can't get it to work to open a link in a particular browser in windows. I can have all links open in Parallels Window's default browser, but I'd like to be able to right-click and select any browser on Mac or Windows. Open with allows for adding commands and arguments, but I think they are only used on Windows. Does anyone know of a way to do this (either with Open With or some other method). Alternately, if I could just get Parallels to open a URL in Windows default browser using a right-click menu command, that would be enough to start.
BTW, I solved this on my own. I just had to use "Open With" to open the Firefox/IE/Chrome listed under the Applications (Parallels) folder in my home directory. Now I can launch links anywhere I like.
Hi JimSafety, Its good to know that you have resolved it yourself and thanks for sharing the solution with us. __________________ Everyday above ground is a good day.
