Parallels for Mac 6 dead

I've been running a Windows 7 and Ubuntu setup for a while. Today I tried to install a fresh Ubuntu VM, but it crashed while installing. Now whenever I try to open the Parallels desktop I get a timeout error.

According to the KB I should completely uninstall parallels 6 and then reinstall. Except... There's nowhere to re-download Parallels 6. Every link to it on the site gets redirected to an Upgrade to Parallels 7 page.

So.

a. Can someone provide a valid download link to Parallels 6?

or

b. If not, and I have to upgrade now, should I still completely uninstall Parallels 6 first?
