Can i delete the .pmv file and start over my parallel install? One more question do I need to start a bootcamp disk to install parallel's?
What do you mean exactly? if you want to reinstall Windows (it is different from Parallels Itself) you can remove PVm file and create new virtual machine from File menu. If you are using Boot Camp to run in the virtual machine and want to reinstall Windows in Boot Camp - you don't nhave to do anything with Parallels But reinstall Boot Camp with Boot Camp assistant. After reinstallation just create new virtual machine
Thanks so much for your reply. I did mange to start a new .pmv and reinstall windows. I had problems the first around underingstanding that I could create a .pmv disk not on my boot disk. I thought that was where the virtual drive had be. My mistake. I really wanted to have an external disk drive to run windows. When I found that I could select the external firewire disk drive from the pull down menu everything fell in place. I now have parallels working. Thanks Again Dan
