I updated my Parallels Desktop V7 with the latest version, yesterday, on Mac OSX Lion. After going through the arduous process of updating the Parallels Tools for my Windows XP VM, I am unable to see the mapped drives. I get a Windows error box in my VM with the words "\\psf\Home\Desktop is not accessible". I have opened My computer under Windows virtual machine, and I no longer see 2 network drives there that I expect to see: Home psf and Host psf. I also no longer have internet access from within my Windows XP VM. I have reinstalled Parallels Tools. I would like to be able to get my install working properly again, as well as try to get data from inside the VM to the Mac, and from the Mac into the VM.
And to make things stranger, I have been able to map the Windows C: drive to Mac OSX, and I can see everything from the Finder, but I still cannot go from inside the VM to Mac OSX, or get to the Internet from inside the VM.

Thank you for your help. I'm back where I should be, able to access the internet from within the VM, and see all of the disks on both sides, too.

Hi, I have the similar problem mentioned above, but I don't have such menu options. I am using Parallels 8 - Build 8.0.18354 (Revision 823166; December 4, 2012) I am trying to install something and I am getting an error message that \\psf\home\Documents can't be accessed.
