Hi All, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and the latest Parallels Desktop 7 build on the latest release of Lion. In Coherence, I'm not able to move app windows from one space to another in Mission Control. I've tried this on both my MacBook Air, and my MacBook Pro 17", with the same result. I've tried reinstalling Parallels Tools, and playing with the dock's (App)->Options->Assign To: All Desktops/This Desktop/None settings, without any luck. Is anyone else dealing with this problem? Thanks, Steve
Solved! Hi All, I finally found a solution. Apparently, either the preference file for the dock, or its underlying database, had a problem. The solution is to delete those files and restart the dock by running this in a shell: rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.{db,plist}; killall Dock Caution: Deleting the dock's database will remove all of the icons that you've dragged to the dock, and revert the dock to its default state. I hope this helps someone! Steve
Really Solved, This Time! Hi All, I tried what I stated above on my MacBook Pro, and it didn't work. I tried a few additional steps on my MacBook Air before what I suggested above, and falsely attributed the solution to what I recommended above. More likely, the solution is to: cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock open . Drag the *.db file(s) to the trash. Then: killall Dock I'm not in front of my MacBook Pro at the moment, or I'd give it a go. You may need to restart Parallels, but once you do, you should be set. Thanks, Steve
Parallels - Can't switch between multiple Word document windows Hi There, I've got a question. I use coherence so that I can switch my multiple word document windows easily between one monitor to another on my macbook pro 2012. I find though that when I have multiple word document windows that sometimes the word document gets behind allot of my other windows. I can't just go to view and then look at my windows that are open in word from the word menu, as the word menu for switching between word document windows is disabled when you are running coherence. Any idea how to get around this?
