    Hi all,

I searched these forums and on the web but i couldn't find a solution.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed as a guest on my MacBook Pro. I want to do some Windows Phone 7 development but unfortunately the emulator checks for a GPU. I thought that the a WDDM 1.1 driver would have been enough but apparently the emulator doesn't like it.

According to dxdiag.exe (DirectX diagnostic tool), everything should be ok.

Total Memory for the Graphics Card: ~1GB.
    Driver Model: WDDM 1.1
    DirectDraw/Direct3D/AGP Texture Acceleration: all enabled
    ...

The Windows Experience index is also reporting fast performance for all subsystems...
    Processor: 5.7
    Memory: 5.5
    Graphics: 5.9
    Gaming Graphics: 4.9
    HD: 7.1

I've also given to the Windows VM 4GB of RAM.

Everything seems to be fine but the emulator still doesn't think that it can perform well inside the VM.

Is there something that can be done?

Oh... and i am running Parallels Desktop 7.

    Thank you,
    .savas.

Parallels? Please answer these questions. Your customers would really like to know if you're at least working on this or plan to?

    Rotation, Landscape view

Has anyone been able to rotate the Windows Phone 7 emulator? I can rotate it, but the content doesn't change inside the phone to reflect landscape mode. Is this happening to everyone else with Parallels 7, Windows 7 and the Windows Phone 7 emulator in this setup or is it just me?
