    Hi,

I know it's possible to configure Bootcamp to use as a VM, but I want to do the opposite.
I have a VM Windows 7 install with all my installs/settings etc., and I want to know if there's a way to make an image of this that can be copied on to a new hard disk, to then use as a Bootcamp install.

The reasons for this are that it would take a long time to set up a new Windows install to match my current setup, meanwhile, for some things I really need the performance benefits of running Bootcamp.

    Thanks

    Steve

there is no such functionality in Parallels. But you can use some third party imaging software to creta an image of installation - ut should work the same way it does on PC

Thanks YanaYana, I wondered if that was possible but didn't know if a VM install was fundamentally different in some way, so I'll give it a try.
