Just bought FM 12 to run in Parallels with WIN XP - just comes up with error(report below). It works great in bootcamp so I'm guessing it is a hardware virtualization that's the issue. Upgraded to Parallel 7, same thing. Tried change RAM and VRAM settings, same thing. Playing in Bootcamp is less than ideal so I can get work done, or play it on the of on my MB Pro without having to reboot (the prime reason for parallels, no?) Any help or an update to fix it (even though I imagine FM 12 is a small demographic) would be greatly appreciated!!! only thing I can copy from report.... FIFA Manager 12 won't run in Parallels 7 with WIN XP Hi BillD222, I've been experiencing the same problem. I've even downloaded the game again and installed using Origin but it still won't work. I still get the same error message as you. It's quite frustrating given that I really do not want to install Win XP via Bootcamp just to play that particular game even though it's essentially, the only game I really play. Every other game I've installed seems to work with the exception of FM 12. I got in touch with with 'Game Advisor' at EA but he couldn't come up with anything useful. I'm still looking for a solution. Will post one if I get it.
Same issue I bootcamp it and it works fine, but not on Parallels 7 Windows 7 32 bit. Hope there is a solution. S
I really hope Parallels does something about it. I don't want to do bootcamp just b'cos of FM 12. Everything else works fine in parallels but I really, really love FM 12. Please Parallels...pleeaassee.
I do also have the same problem, i think it has to do with Origin launching techniques to launch games (in this case Fifa 2012). I think this way because if you try to run a not original Fifa 2012 game (btw. cracked), it runs just fine.
