This evening my parallels installation (OSX Snow Leopard host, WinXP guest) started launching iTunes repeatedly. If I exit or force close iTunes it relaunches immediately. Task manager tells me prl_cc.exe is the parent which is launching iTunes, and if I suspend that task the iTunes launches stop. I've tried reinstalling Parallels Tools and upgrading iTunes but it hasn't made a difference. This behavior started after I connected an iPad to my Mac for the first time. However, when the USB chooser came up I chose to have the device permanently directed to the OSX host, not the guest. I also tried removing the iPad from the USB device list, but the problem persists. Any ideas?
