    When I was using VMware Fusion and the track pad in Parallels, I could hold the COMMAND + HOLD CLICK and use two fingers to emulate a middle button on a mouse. I can not find a way in Parallels 7 to accomplish the same thing. I am using a MacBook Pro (late 2011), Lion, run Windows 7 (boot camp) through Parallels 7.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I don't have this issue. Using Parallels running Win XP, on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6. My System Preferences -> Trackpad settings:
    Trackpad Gestures:
    * Use two fingers to scroll
    ** Allow horizontal scrolling
    * Zoom while holding Command
    * Clicking
    ** Dragging
    * Tap trackpad using two fingers for secondary click
    Trackpad Options:
    * Ignore accidental trackpad input

    Have a look at your trackpad settings and see if that helps at all.

    My setting are the same. What I need is the ability to "click, hold and drag the mmb". I can only seem to get the click of the mmb to be recognized. This worked great in VMware fusion. I need this because my window application uses the mmb for navigating around the screen (i.e panning, zooming). When traveling, I don't really have the option of using a mouse on a plane.

    Thanks,
