I have Parallels Desktop icon in my dock, and two VMs (one windows 7 and the other ubuntu).

Whenever I click parallels desktop icon (an icon looks like a computer), it just starts some VM that I've used. It looks like it's opening the last VM I've used.

Instead, I want it to list VMs that I have - vm list. And then I'd like to choose what to resume.

I checked preference menu of parallels to see if I have this kind option, but I can't find it.

    Could you help?

    Thanks

For each VM: Virtual Machine menu -> Configure -> Options tab -> Startup and Shutdown -> Start Automatically = Never.

The VM list (always accessible from the Window menu) will then be the only thing that appears when you start Parallels.

    Problem solved

Thank you for your help. Setting to Never for start automatically fixed it.
