I have parallells running on a mac lion machine. I am attempting to connect to a wireless connection at work. The instructions blatently says it has only been tested for Windows OS but it MAY work in other OSs. I configure the settings appropriately in lion Network Assistant and verify I have an IP address and am connected. In Mac OSx I cannot get any website connections. But when I open internet explorer in Win 7 under Parallels, I can access any website just fine. Also, mail in lion will not connect to the internet. Any thoughts? If I can get to the net in Win 7 using Parallels shouldn't I be able to get to the net from lion? I tried Safari and Chrome on lion and no dice.
Hi, It seems that you wireless adapter boot on you windows vm. As you are using bridge connection you have need one extra wireless adapter for working internet both windows and MAC. My suggestion is you can configure hostonly network in your adapter setings. It may work... _______________ SakibS
Yep, sometimes all you have to do is ask. I was surprised at how easy that was. I had tried the bridged mode to no avail but never thought to try the host. Wow! how many unproductive hours I spent on this issue...Thanks
I have my network set to shared and connect to my work VPN from the Guest OS (windows 7). I am running on Mac OSX Lion. I am using Parallels 6. I am able to connect to VPN but I cannot access our work intranet sites. Anyone has this problem before?
