Numeric keyboard

    I have an apple Keyboard complete with numeric keypad (usb connected) ..The numeric keypad in Win7 with both XL ver.2010 and ver.2002 is all over the place.. tried "clear/numlock" key..yes that key changes things but does not fix the problem...0 ..then stops...123467895..the "5" gets ahead of the curser!! ..I typed these numbers from the keypad and you can see what the problem is....In XL it will sometimes jump boxes at the same time...seems to be all over the place.
    This is a new iMac and my first time with a Mac and Parallels. I have to use XL a lot for financial programs etc...everything else about the system seems fine and I am getting my head around most everything else.
    I did try to get help from Parallels Support!! what a nightmare!! over an 1 hour later I gave up if this can't be fixed I will have to go to bootcamp and dual boot. (see on the net their procedure is unnecessary complicated!!)
    Someone please help??
    iMac Desktop 27inch..i7 3.4 Ghz CPU..12GB Ram..pur.12 Jan.2012 (Keypad worked fine before installing Parallels)

    Problem has been solved by a very nice Lass on your "Chat" ..Ended in a right mess trying to sort it out myself!! anyway using a remote desk she cleaned up my mess and reinstalled Parallels 7.. everything was sorted out last night and the key pad is working as it should (seem like the original install was faulty). sorry I was out all day and I think someone might have tried to ring me..could you let them know all is OK.

    It is good to know our engineer was able to make things work as they should.

    As I can see, you also informed our engineer that the issue is resolved and your ticket is in "Resolved" status now.
