For some reason since the last version 6 update, 6.0.12106, Parallels doesn't remember my keyboard preferences in between restarts. The preferences show correctly in the preferences window, but the system doesn't use them correctly unless I re-save them. Right now, it is affecting my key commands(I prefer Mac style) for copy and paste, command-shift to select multiple cells in Excel, etc. Anyone else having this issue?
Further info: This only seems to happen in Coherence mode. If I exit from Coherence, my keyboard preferences are honored. It is a real pain though having to do this every time I want to use Windows apps.
Finally found a solution in another related thread. I just had to reinstall Parallels tools and everything went back to normal. Took less than a minute to do.
