sidenote: Not really a forum question (sorrry) but I couldn't find a single quick webstore e-mail support form! I'm giving Parallels the benefit of the doubt (that I'm just stupid), but this almost turned me off from upgrading immediately. I originally bought PD2 then PD3 (not knowing about upgrades) then bought an upgrade license to PD4. It was my understanding that the upgrade to PD7 was only available for PD5 and not for PD4 users. But, today I get an email offering a discounted upgrade price that suggests otherwise, even though the website still says upgrades are only available for PD5 and up. Can anyone clarify? Couldn't find this question searching... This one I could probably search for, but while I have your attention... general user impressions on PD7? Worthwhile?
Hey Jong - In order to upgrade to Parallels Desktop 7 from Parallels Desktop 4 you will need to purchase a FULL license.
Thanks. That's what I thought. The email literally said "Parallels Desktop 4 for Mac users: It's your last chance to upgrade to Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac at an upgrade price!" Guess I'll skip upgrading until later. Happy New Years~
