    I'm getting this error when I launch any Windows guest environment:

    ===
    The necessary USB devices driver could not be opened. You will not be able to connect USB devices to the virtual machine. Try to reinstall Parallels Desktop
    ===

    I have tried re-installing Parallels Tools, but it doesn't help.

    I'd rather not have to re-install Parallels Desktop...

    Using Parallels Desktop for Mac 6:

    Build 6.0.12106

    Reinstalling PD is easier than uninstalling and reinstalling the Parallels tools. Why wouldn't you do it? Just make sure to completely shut down the VM before you do.

    I have the same issue, I did not reinstall Parallels Tools, I reinstalled PD a couple of times now, what happens is it works OK after the install, but if I shut down the vm & the Mac next time turn on the Mac and run the vm the error message comes back.
    MacBook Pro (1,1)
    OS X 10.6.8
    Parallels 6.0.12106
