Virtual Machine Config is very limited

    Hi,

    I am wondering why my configuration for my virtual machine is very limited

    Im trying to enable Bridged in the networking setting and i cant seem to find where to enable them.

    Can someone please help?

    Just follow what the yellow tab says, shut down the VM first (do not suspend it) before making these changes. Some changes can only be made with the VM completely shut down. Imagine this is a real PC, you wouldn't change the ethernet card with the PC running would you?

    I know that i have to shut it down first before i change anything but i cant seem to find any option that allow me to enable Bridged network. Any idea?

    It's right in front of your eyes, it's the menu in front of "Type:", it's a pull-down menu. If it doesn't show you more options when you press it it's because you haven't shut down the VM yet.

    i know, i changed that to Bridge Airport but i cannot get the internet to work, but when i choose Shared it does. I am trying to get the bridged connection to work

    That's not what you asked. That's a totally different problem!

    Bridge networking requires some knowledge of how networks work to make it work.

    For some reason i see Airport option instead of Wi-Fi but when i try to connect it doesnt work.
