Hi, I run an old program that is native at 800x600. On a modern display it is very small, and was hoping for some help getting it bigger. My display is 1920x1080. I would prefer to use Coherence mode, if it was possible to set the windows resolution to 800x600, while retaining native mac os resolution. Modality mode works great at scaling the window, but it won't stay upon a restart of Parallels, it needs to be activated every time. Is there a way to combine Modality and Coherence? Or force a fixed resolution for Coherence? I don't mind if the window will be stuck on the side of the screen.. Thanks
In fact here is the problem: in Coherence Parallels Desktop does not disappear and Windows OS resolution is not the same thing as your application window resolution. in Coherence Windows OS has the same resolution as Mac - in fact it can be compared with Full Screen mode for Parallels Desktop - but the background in Coherence is transparent. You can try to set resolution in Window mode BUT - you need to uninstall Parallels Videoadapter to do it - otherwise it would use dynamic resolution feature (without Parallels video adapter you wouldn't be able to use coherence anymore).
Thanks for the help! Well as YanaYana said if I uninstall the driver, it disables Coherence mode, so I would need to edit the registry to fix the resolution with the driver installed and Coherence enabled. Any input would be appreciated
