Hi all, Not sure if this is the correct forum, however, I am encountering a problem that I've been unable to find a solution to at this point. I have Win7 Home Premium on Macbook Pro (2009) Nvidia 9400M. The win7 vm will frequently go black and then redraw the entire vm window. It looks identical to when you resize the VM and it has to rebuild the desktop based on the new screen dimensions. Any suggestion on how to correct this would be great! Thanks, Ken
Are you saying this just happens randomly or are you doing something with the VM when it happens? Steve
Just a quick question but i must ask - do you have Parallels Tools installed? did you try to reinstall them?
Happens when I'm using the VM doing various random tasks. Yes, the tools are installed and no, I have not tried doing a reinstall.. should I? Thanks, Ken
Well good news. It hasn't done it all day since I reinstalled the tools. I'll keep you posted if the symptoms return. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers! ken
Reinstallation of Parallels Desktop itself would not help in this case - problem is connected with video driver which is a part of Parallels Tools - this is why i suggested to reinstall Parallels Tools
