Can Parallels Transporter be used to transport profiles etc to other Windows machines?

In simpler terms can Parallels Transporter be used like Microsoft's File and Printer Settings Wizard between Windows machines or is it simply between physical PC and Parallels VMs?

It's just for use by Parallels Desktop, unless there was a program that could read the resulting data on Windows, so, no.
But Windows itself has a migration tool.

It does but it sucks hole.

I took me 4 hours to create an image of 40GB ready for copying.

I was hoping that having Parallels Transporter installed on two Windows machines would work better. :)

But you can download and run Acronis Disk Image, download it from the top link in my signature.

Unfortunately that doesn't do what I need it to do because it's corporate work that I'm doing.

Many of the machines that I need to transfer files from and to have McAfee EndPoint encryption on them so this sort of backup won't actually work and if it does it's going to be most of the day as the software would have to decrypt the drive as it does its backup.

Also when I say create an image File and Settings Transfer Wizard copies files to an image. It's not a disk image like Ghost or Acronis it's essentially similar to a WIM image but sufficiently different to be a pain in the butt.

I've basically resigned myself to thinking the only reliable way is to do the process manually. I want to script it though so I'm going to start working on this instead.

    Thanks for the help though.

If you pay, or your company, for Endpoint security, I'm sure there's commercial software that suits your needs.
