I am getting consistent kernal panics when running a graphics intensive program. I get a hard lockup and have to manually power off the mac. Attached are the various crash logs. Does this happen if you disconnect all external hardware from the MBP? In the past I had some kernel panics do to some faulty usb adapters, as hardware issues are normally the most likely cause of kernel panics.
I have one external firewire hard drive attached and one mouse on a usb port. Thats it. Until I started using the graphics intensive software, I have NEVER had an issue with parallels. I get the panic in as little as a half hour after starting up the software to as much as four hours afterwards. I received the first panic when I used the software for the first time, and have been getting a panic every time I use the software.
Have you tried running it like I said? It doesn't matter if it's a mouse or an external drive. Try it like I said, if it still gives you kernel panics then we'll try something else.
