Can't switch views from Coherence

I used to be able to go from Coherence directly to full screen from the View menu or using a keyboard command. I can't seem to do this anymore. The other view options are grayed out in the menu. The only option available is "Exit Coherance" which is fine, except it changes the resolution and screws up my Windows desktop.

How can I seamlessly switch between Coherence and full screen? This is Win 7 in the latest Parallels on Lion.

This is a bit of an odd one, I've had the opposite where every mode except Coherence was available. I expect you have restarted Windows/Parallels and even your Mac but this persists?

Have you tried uninstalling Parallels Tools from Windows, restarting Windows (don't let it reinstall Parallels Tools prior to restarting Windows) and then reinstalling Parallels Tools. If not then see if that helps.

If you go to Parallels Virtual Machine/Configure what is set for Video? Make sure you have at least 256 MB if your Mac has that much because without enough memory selected I imagine there could be issues using Windows in its own screen or Window.

This is how it works in version 7, it is not unexpected behaviour. This is due to the Mac OS Lion integration - in order to prevent any video glitches - so this is by design
