I am planning on updating my Mac OS to Lion but have some programs that I currently use in Snow Leopard that are not supported by Lion such as quicken 2007 . Can I install Snow Leopard as an operating system within Parallels?
Hello Barberbill, According to Apple SLA, you can install and use only one copy of the Mac OS X software on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time. However, Apple eased their restrictions for Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server. You needed to obtain an individual and valid license from Apple for each of Mac OSes. The full list of supported guest operating systems can be found here: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/system-requirements/
