I had been using Windows XP all day to the extent of loading some programs. When I returned to my Mac and opened Parallels, I was greeted with Untitled Virtual Machine and cannot boot up Windows XP. I have just received my MacBook and had the Parallels program and Windows XP loaded by the retailer,i.e., a complete rookie. What do I have to do to recover my VM? Thanks in advance.

the virtual disk should be in ~/Library/Parallels or ~/Documents/Parallels

Happen to me as well after a retailer install. I just used spotlight to find app files and created another ICON for winxp.pvs on desktop. The orignal Icon that invoked the app
croked (stop working). Everthing works fine now. Osusamhttp://forum.parallels.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
