Hello, I have Parallels installed for some time now, with win xp pro as guest, I am dentist , and have an intraoral camera that only works under windows. Steup is as follows: docking station connected to usb, camera connected to docking station, docking station connected to second usb , via Prolific serail/usb.There are indeed two connections from teh docking station to 2 usb ports (normally to one USB and one serial, but as my mac mini ( 10.4,9)does not have a serial port, I use the Prolific. All usb devices are recognized in winxp , without any problems. But, when I use the camera, I do not see any image, even though I can see the green dot swith on next to the USB icon,as long as the camera is on.It looks as if there is not enough bandwith delivered through the shared usb . I tried the exact installation on a native winxp pro on a laptop, with same setup, and there it works flawlessly. The problem lies within the guest XP under Parallels, and having an extra lapotop in my office is not an option. Could you point me to a solution for this?Is there a way to give all the available bandwith of some usb ports to the guest winxp? Kindest regards, Alex
I would check out file sharing with the image destiantion folder is fully enabled Menu >> Parallels Desktop >> Devices >> Shared Folders >> Add BTW I save all my stuff on the MAC desktop or USB HD which I added manually as devices until I learned this I ahd problems with viewing files HughW
