Wondering if anyone else has seen this - had a stable 10.4.8 MBP 17 running build 3188 and windows xp. has worked fine, two different VMs that I use, one for work and one for personal.

I upgraded the machine to 10.4.9 and now whenever I am "inside" one of the VMs, I cannot see the cursor. It had worked under 10.4.8 without any problems. The VM appears to be working fine, since I can maneuver via the keyboard, but I have to control-alt to see the cursor again. The other VM works fine.

    Any ideas?

I had a strange effect once. Can't say if it's related, but ...

I upgraded to build 3166 and did all the usual tools updates, and it worked OK. I later took the 10.4.9 update. When I next launched Parallels/XP SP2 my cursor would select multiple items on the Windows screen. Click the fourth item down a file list, and all the first four items would be selected. I shut down XP, quit Parallels and relaunched it all, and it was OK.

    Weird!

    Try re-installing Parallels tools.

What happens if right-click inisde the VM? Do you see a usual Windows pop-up menu?

Do you have a standard Windows cursors scheme? If not, what is it?
