For the life of me, I cannot find the "Parallels Tools for Boot Camp.exe" file from the "Parallels web site." I've honestly spent about 40 minutes looking for it, and every link that I find just redirects to the regular Parallels "Download Center" (http://www.parallels.com/en/download) page. Do any of you know where I can find this file? Like a lot of people, I've been using Boot Camp on my iMac whenever I need to use Windows, but I've been looking forward to the point where I can use Parallels with my Boot Camp install so that I can use the Windows apps required for my engineering homework while I'm in OS X without rebooting OR having two copies of Windows. At any rate, I was excited to find that Parallels had finally reached this level of integration, but now that I can't install it this way, I'm feeling frustrated.
The latest version of Parallels does not require this file. It was actually removed in a prior release! You should be using version 3188 of Parallels ajm
Thanks for the tip. It seems that I was one dialog box short of my solution. *shakes head* Heh. Better luck next time, I guess.
