Well, I don't know if it's a problem or more of a concern. Hi, I've had parallels for my mac for a little while and just obtained Fedora Core 6 and tried to install it the other day. Things seemed to be going smoothly but it soon gave me this message: ------ "The partition table on device hda was unreadable. to create new partitions it must be initialized, causing the loss of ALL DATA on this drive" "Yes" "No" ------ I viewed a tutorial online for installing FC and it looked like they picked the "Yes" option. I guess I'm just a bit concerned about what happens next... will it erase data or is that a virtual message? Another problem I'm having is the fact that all the documentation for Parallels seems to be a few versions old. Any help would be much appreciated.
All data on the virtual hard drive will be erased, not all data on your computer. FC6 doesn't know it's in a VM and that it's interacting with a virtual HD.
