So I am on the trial version right now, and am wondering if I will have to set everything (reinstall windows, etc.) up when it expires, or will I be able to purchase the retail version and my setup will carry over? Thanks
just put in a licence key when you purchase, and business as usual... (recommend buying online via the parallels site btw!)
darkone is correct. The trial version is in reality a full install of Parallels, with just a limited life span. A purchased license key will never expire. Couple of tips: to enter purchased key, launch Parallels then choose Help menu, then choose to activate Parallels. Cut and paste the activation key from the email you will receive after purchasing, into the activation window. trust me...this might just save a headache or two. DS
