I am running build 3188 on a Mac Pro OSX 10.4.8 (and now 10.4.9) with Windows XP SP2 as the guest OS. I find that since leaving build 1970 in favor of the latest Parallels build that I am having network connections that have been open for a few hours close suddenly. A typical example is opening a ssh session from the guest OS to another machine and then leaving it open overnight and coming back the next day to find that the ssh connection is closed with the message that the connection was reset by peer. This occurs despite the fact that ssh connections from the Mac OSX side that are running simultaneously with that connection to the same remote host stay up with no problems whatsoever for weeks at a time. This is a new problem since build 1970 as I never saw this problem prior to the upgrade to 3186 and 3188. Anyone have any thoughts?
Kaspersky related? I forgot to mentioned that I installed that Kaspersky internet security product that came with the new parallels. Could that be producing the behavior that I am seeing?
