    Hi
Set up Parallels build 3186 on a Macbook (1gb ram) Installed Windows, Office, Network drives, Printers etc all fine.
I have a strange problem though.
If I open a App, say Word- everything looks OK, that is until you click on the toolbar any tool in the window, which then makes the App unresponsive (The blue menu bar goes light blue as if the program is inactive) and I cant do anything in the window.

Minimizing the App onto the task-bar makes everything work again until you click on a tool or the menu then it's unresponsive again.
I've tried upgrading to 3188 and it seemed to work OK for about a day, I have 5 days left of my trial before I have to buy, and I have to say the software is so buggy I doubt I'll do that.
    Any ideas?
    Mark
PS I'm using Windows XP as a guest OS and OS X 10.4.8

    Mark,

I've reset your trial activation key and so you may do new trial order.
Please let me look at some screenshots with unresponsive application.

    thanks for the reply

The only thing I can make active when the program freezes is the start button. here is a screen shot:

With the image above you can see the greyed out XP menu bar, and other programs can be launched, but when you click in the window the program is basically inactive.

    very frustrating!

Sounds like you've got a bad / corrupted install of Windows. I've had this problem in native windows in the past. Only thing that solved it was windows reinstall. Just a guess.
