I PROCEEDED THRU THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DID NOT ADD PAR. TOOLS B/C OF EXPRESS METHOD, NEXT INSTRUCTION - SETTING UP SHARED FOLDERS - OPTION SAYS NOT AVAILABLE. I START PAR. DESKTOP. I PROCEED TO SCREEN THAT HAS CONFIGURATION AND RESOURCES. I CLICK ON OPEN I CHOOSE FOLDER CALLED WINXP.PVS ( SAME AS ON DESKTOP) I CLICK POWER ON. THE BLACK SCREEN APPEARS STATING: PARALLELS (R) 2.2 BUILD 1970... 640 KB BASE MEMORY 262144 KB EXTENDED MEMORY BOOT FROM HARD DRIVE.... NOTHING HAPPENS FROM THIS POINT. HOW DO I PROCEED. Dude, turn the Caps Lock off like your last sentence. Also, enter key is your friend. Express setup will eventually have Parallels Tools installed after first boot. Now, try to phrase it out more coherently this time.
kops, please do the following: 1. Right button click on your *.pvs file 2. Choose "Get info" 3. Open "Open with..." menu and change default program from "Parallels (default) (2.5)" to "Parallels Desktop (2.5)"
