I just upgraded my build 3170 to the newly released 3186 on my Mac Book Pro, and my performance went [excuse me...] into the toilet. I'm going to try reinstalling Parallels Desktop 3186 after removing completely all Parallels components to see if that fixes things.

I was absolutely amazed at how fast Parallels build 3170 ran. Everyone I showed it to couldn't believe how zippy it was.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

I found a huge performance improvement with 3186 after reducing Parallels RAM from 1G to 512M on my 2G macbook. My guess is that it reduces paging on the Mac side. I have not yet tried the new 3188.
