    Hello,

This is very strange. I am using 3170 RC3 and can use VPN Cisco Client (BlackIce) and Windows Remote Desktop to control my work PC just fine using my iMac 24 using wire connection (not wireless). This works great and I have no problem here.

I then tried it on my brand new MacBook Pro 15.4 Core2 Duo (via wireless) and cannot take control using Windows remote desktop. I can log in just fine using VPN, but failed at using Windows Remote Desktop. It keeps saying that it can't find my work machine.

I took another step by transporting my XP Pro image from the iMac 24 over to MacBook Pro, using the built in Parallels tool. This converted it over just fine and still I can't remotely into my work PC.

I also, install a brand new XP pro onto the MacBook Pro, thinking maybe this should help. It didn't.

Please anyone, help me out. Thanks.

Remote Desktop Connection to Windows Server

I have exactly the same problem and am a little dissapointed to find so little info on the forum. Have you had any luck? I have a macbook pro with Core 2 Duo. I can log on to my office server via VPN but not via Remote Desktop Connection.
