vista not accepting network passwords

    hi,

    i've been using paralells with xp for some time now, all going well, but now i've got a problem with Vista.

    when i try to connect to any other machine on the network, vista just refuses the password.

    i'm using parallels build 3186 and vista home premium with the latest paralells tools installed on a macbook with latest os x. network is a typical home network setup.

    any ideas?

    try using the form DOMAIN\username , or if your machines are not in a windows domain, then MACHINENAME\username for the username, when mapping the drive.

    tried that... didn't work.
    there's no domain and no other windows machines. the network just has 3 macs on it....
    it can see all the machines ok, it just wont accept the credentials.
