I have the new final release of Parallels. What a product, truly awesome! One question: if you are running a VM where Coherence is set not to use multiple monitors, but you do have multiple monitors, is there a way to tell Parallels which monitor to use? I have a 20" iMac and a 17" second screen. I have disabled multiple displays as I don't like the way it stretches across the two screens. But when I open an app, it always displays on the 17" screen. I'd like it to display on the 20" screen but can't drag it across for obvious reasons. Cheers
I don't use coherence any more but it will be on the vdu where the initial window was on startup Hugh W
You might want to check the PVS file to see if there's a setting there. I haven't done that so don't know for sure. But, if I remember correctly, use OS Window then drag that Window to the monitor you want to use, shutdown the VM and restart it. you should see it start on the monitor where you last shut it down. Once that is happening, then trying playing with Full Screen or Coherence mode, if you like.
