Just have to say, I upgraded to 3186 and I'm absolutely amazed! The way I can just resize the Windows window to any desktop size I want by dragging the corner is fantasic. Coherence looks really cool too, though I'm not certain I have very much use for it yet. Having that Start menu at the bottom of the screen is kind of annoying. I set it to "auto-hide" but then there's an ugly blue line running across the top of the Dock. Is there anyway to have the Start mennu hide on the right side of the screen? Or better yet, vanish altogether unless I click on the Parallels icon on the Dock? BTW, Does anyone know how to skin Windows XP to look like Aqua? Maybe Parallels should include that in the next version. Thanks for an awesome product! Stephen
Just to answer one of my own questions -- right click on the Win XP taskbar, uncheck "Lock The Taskbar" then I can drag it to the right side. With auto-hide on it slides out of sight (which is nice 'cause it's darned ugly). slegge
Removing the task bar If you go to the VIEW menuu of Parallels and in the Customise option uncheck the SHOW option, that will make the task bar disappear and you can acces sthe start menu by clicking the Parallels icon in the Dock. Hope this helps Mav
