Hello, i am considering to move my parallels image to a bootcamp partition and have two regarding questions: 1) How does it affect Windows to boot sometimes with the Parallels hardware and sometimes with the Macbook hardware. Does this mean that changed Hardware is detected once i change from booting the bootcamp partition from Parallels or vice-versa? Does it cause any trouble to boot the Windows partition as needed (except for the activation trouble that i know of already)? 2) Does moving from a single filesystem file to a bootcamp parition imply any speed/performance improvement or reduction for the virtualized execution within parallels? Is there anything else to consider before making this switch? Thanks a lot!
Has no effect on Windows. You may need to re-activate one time. Any data saved in one wil be available in the other. Same with downloads, updates, etc. The advantage to having BC is IF you want FULL windows functionality and speed, it is available by booting into Windows rather then OSX. Running under parallels will be no different. ajm
