I use PD6 on a MacBookPro running 10.6.something and Windows XP Pro w/SP3. I have many drive mappings to my Linksys ReadyNas MV+. I saw immediately that it grabbed Z:, so I re-mapped it. But, now and then, it grabs other drives for the psf/host stuff. Doesn't seem to be much reason for it, but it disrupts a lot of processes on the VM that know what drives are for what purpose.

Is there any way to stop this? I assign drives by UNC, not IP address. I do have static enough addresses that perhaps would alleviate the issue.

Anyone else have these types of problems?

    Switched to VirtualBox

I switched to VirtualBox. While it mapped a virtual drive to use, as it is not as flexible dragging files, there is a way to drop its allocation of its drive of choice, and make a persistent mapping where I wanted.

No help from me, good luck.
