Installation of latest update problem

    I've been trying to unsuccessfully install the latest update to Parallels (ver. 7.0.14924.699487) and keep receiving the error "The update could not be downloaded. Please check your network connection and try again." My connection is just fine of course. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Try to download the trial version and install it.

    Worse update story.

    Upon accepting the update, Parallels disappeared. The Windows (.pmv?) files are still there, but no Parallels to enable them.

    What happened?
