I have downloaded the dmg file, launched it and selected "uninstall parallels desktop" . .. then I get an error saying that I don't have Parallels Desktop installed on my computer. . . so I launched my parallels that IS clearly on my computer. I MUST get rid of this program since I don't use it anymore and it takes up too much space. Please help. Thanks jon
Just trash the application and the Parallels folder in your Documents folder. That's where your VMs are stored. Steve
uninstall PD 3.0 on mac os 10.6.8 Just deleting the parallels folder does not get rid of all of the components that are messing up my computer as well. I have to do a 'clean uninstall' that removes all components, not just the virtual machines. As a reminder, I have downloaded the dmg file to uninstall, but when I try to run it, I get an error saying that I don't have PD on my computer (even though I can launch it and run it just fine). Help? Jon
